Welcome Families!
I didn't think we needed this extra layer of support or extra parent-teacher communication tool, but with inclement weather and time off I decided this would be a great resource for families to use. I had many parents in the past rave over how much they loved the class blog. It really is just a tool for me to share resources, games, and activities for you to use to help your child. That is the primary purpose of this blog.
With the next week of school looking iffy, I decided now is the time to launch! You can have your child practice fun activities from home and look at what we're working on. Our most recent spelling list did NOT go home Friday like we intended due to the sudden school closure. Lucky for you, I have them ALL uploaded! :) The tabs at the top of the blog will take you to different pages, including the spelling list page. A new Saxon book will be sent home next Friday.
This is not a platform where we will release pictures, child names, or any student work.
I have MANY posts from previous teaching years with what is relevant to your child compiled. You are welcome to look at my previous posts, but you may not find any value in them since they were for my first grade classes with our weekly test, reading, and math information. I tried to delete a lot of the clutter.
